I’m sure you’ve heard the expression ‘poacher turned gamekeeper’, if not, then the Collins online dictionary has the following definition:
"Someone whose occupation or behaviour is the opposite of what it previously was, such as a burglar who now advises on home security."
Interesting example, but I much prefer:
"Someone whose occupation or behaviour is the opposite of what it previously was, such as a journalist who now works in marketing."
Which brings me on to today where Andi Sykes (that’s me), previously of Singletrackworld.com, is out on a lovely hillside with Ross Demain (still of Singletrackworld.com) to shoot photos of an upcoming review.
YES, its a review of the Privateer 161, the brand which I run marketing for, but to be honest I would happily hang about all day on the side of a hill even if we were shooting a review on a Raleigh Activator.
