How I worked with one of the biggest automotive YouTubers in the UK to promote HUNT through the 2025 Arenacross season.
I keep telling myself I should cut down on my scrolling, but now and then, some good comes of it. Case in point, if I hadn’t been idling scrolling Instagram one dull day in January, I wouldn’t have spotted a fantastic opportunity to promote HUNT Bike Wheels and meet (and spend the day with) one of my favourite automotive YouTubers, Mark McCann.
If you don’t know who Mark McCann is then you’re not into your cars, for us petrolheads, he is known for producing some really interesting and unique content for his YouTube audience of 517,000! His videos range from personal challenges to racing and even revealing the truth behind car insurance costs, he’s also partial to jumping exotic supercars on his personal rally track!
On that fateful day, Mark had posted that he was looking for brands to sponsor an Arenacross team (indoor motocross). The packages were reasonable, and with a strong crossover in audience between motocross and mountain biking, especially EMTB, I got in touch and signed up.
HUNT branding was prominently placed on 4 Stark Future electric motocross bikes, as well as Mark’s team pits, and with races held at major indoor arenas throughout the UK, HUNT was seen by tens of thousands of avid off-road fans during the sell-out arena tour, not to mention the shoutouts on Mark McCann’s personal Instagram with over 144k followers!




Through our journal posts, social media and customer emails we saw a significant boost in traffic and sales generated by this collaboration, and it’s certainly something that I’m eager to try again for the 2026 season!
